This week brings a free Zumba class in celebration of Women鈥檚 鈥淗erstory鈥 Month, a talk on the importance of storytelling in suicide prevention, Pizza & Perspectives: India, the Mobile Food Pantry and more.

Monday, March 18

Join International Student & 小蓝视频 Services and the Environmental Center to learn how to transform your lifestyle to sustainable living with some fun and relaxing crafts! They will be making personal care products.

5鈥6听p.m. Rec Center, Studio 2
Join the听Rec Center and Center for Inclusion & Social Change听for a听a free Zumba class in celebration of听Women鈥檚 鈥淗erstory鈥 Month.听The class will feature a playlist that centers on women and femme artists or musicians. This will be a space for empowerment and celebration. Free admission.

Clinical psychologist Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas, an听inspirational international speaker and impact entrepreneur, will discuss the importance of storytelling in "sharing your story of lived experience with suicide" and how that can help with the healing process.听Spencer-Thomas was moved to work in suicide prevention after her younger brother, a Denver entrepreneur, died of suicide after a difficult battle with bipolar condition. RSVP is required.

Join the Middle Eastern Student Association for CU 小蓝视频's second-annual Hijab Fashion Show. This event is free and open to the whole campus community.

Join the and Cultural Events Board for a relaxing night and screening of the film Widows! Widows is the story of four women with nothing in common except a debt left behind by their dead husbands鈥 criminal activities.

Are you skipping meals or groceries due to lack of financial resources, making hard choices with what bills to pay听and/or running out of food at the end of a pay period? The Mobile Food Pantry is bringing fresh produce, dairy and pantry items to campus.
