The U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision against race-conscious admissions programs at Harvard College and the University of North Carolina. In the face of this momentous ruling, CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ remains resolute in its commitment to the advancement of students of all races and backgrounds.

The CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ police join the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ police, Louisville police, Lafayette police, Longmont Public Safety, СÀ¶ÊÓƵ County Sheriff’s Office and district attorney’s office in a statement about the sickening and disheartening actions of the Memphis police officers and fire medics involved in the death of Tyre Nichols.
An independent, comprehensive fact-finding inquiry is currently underway of the CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ cross country program based on allegations pertaining to its use of body composition analysis, training methods and overall culture. CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ has taken these allegations seriously and acted swiftly in response.
The rejection of Ballot Question 2F means the CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ South site remains within СÀ¶ÊÓƵ’s city limits and the city’s flood protection project—among other aspects of the annexation agreement—can continue to move forward.Â

On Oct. 5, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a federal judge’s 2021 ruling that the original Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is unlawful. In response, the CU president and chancellors expressed disappointment and urged DACA recipients to renew as soon as possible. Read more.
