- The CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ Art Museum has received the largest philanthropic gift in its history: a $1.9 million investment reflecting a couple’s love of art and acknowledging the museum’s significance to the campus community.
- The track Olympian, NCAA national champion and CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ alumna Emma Coburn has accepted an invitation from CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµâ€™s Senior Class Council to give this year’s commencement address.
- Lucy Pao, the Palmer Endowed Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ, was honored by a global control systems society.
- The Adam Matthew collections, to which the University Libraries acquired access for the CU system, contain unique archival and primary source materials from The National Archives UK, the Newberry Library, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and many other institutions.
- Roselinde Kaiser, a clinical psychologist and neuroscientist, is being recognized for her research on the science and treatment of adolescent depression.
- Nominations are open through Feb. 6 for CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ's Student Employee of the Year award. Faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations to recognize and honor student employees for their contributions to our university.

- Justin Schwartz is asking the faculty, staff and administration to join him in prioritizing the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement, a national standard by which higher education community engagement is assessed and recognized.
- The Disability Services and ADA Office at CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ have partnered to form the Center for Disability and Access. By centralizing essential services, the intention is to enhance accessibility, streamline processes and ensure equal opportunities to access programs, courses and activities across campus.
- Professor Adam Kaufman has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. Kaufman is a JILA fellow, NIST physicist and CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ physics professor.
