- Facilitating communities of practice that encourage connection, cross-disciplinary exchange, and professional growth.
- Providing responsive assessment services that help educators measure and improve the effectiveness of their teaching strategies and classroom technologies.
Our Philosophy
At the CTL, we believe:
- Teaching is a skill that evolves with practice, reflection, and re-evaluation.
- Effective teaching is not innate鈥攊t is informed by dialogue, shared knowledge, and intentional planning.
- Inclusivity matters: Great teaching reflects the diversity of our community, embracing identities such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic background.
We invite educators to join an open and welcoming space where they can:
- Explore innovative teaching practices.
- Engage in meaningful conversations.
- Take creative risks and embrace intellectual humility.
- Build knowledge that drives positive change in their classrooms and communities.
Our Vision
The CTL thrives when educators come together to:
- Share insights and questions about teaching.
- Strengthen their academic units and teaching practices.
- Grow as leaders in a culture of continuous learning.
