Join journalist Lakshmi Singh for impactful discussions with CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ researchers on the human rights impacts of a changing environment, including with respect to pollution, water security, and human migration. The discussion will feature keynote remarks from Sheila Watt-Cloutier, a global advocate for the human rights of Indigenous Peoples, including their right to health.
Objectives:
Promote research on human rights-based solutions to the climate crisis.
Raise awareness about the contribution of Indigenous knowledge to tackling climate change and promote its reflection in policy decisions.

This panel discussion will focus on human rights impacts related to climate, featuring CU СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ doctoral researchers and faculty leadership in Environmental Studies whose research collaborations support solutions to the impacts of pollution, food and water security and population migration dynamics across multiple continents.
