About Us

Since 1776, fraternities and sororities have offered students opportunities for leadership development, academic success, brotherhood/sisterhood and community service. These organizations are present on hundreds of campuses nationwide and internationally, providing a unique collegiate experience.Ìý

At CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ, fraternity and sorority involvement has been key since 1884. Starting with the founding of Pi Beta Phi, our community continues to thrive. Fraternity & Sorority Life acts as a liaison between Greek organizations and the university, promoting self-governance and leadership within the Greek community. Today, more than 3,600 students participate in our diverse Greek chapters. We are also open for expansion to new fraternities.Ìý

Fraternity & Sorority Life coordinates programs, activities and services to support members' educational and social experiences. All services are available to chapter officers, members, advisors, councils, headquarters representatives, alumni, community officials, parents and potential members.Ìý

Our Services

ÌýÌýProgramming: We offer educational programs to fraternities and sororities, support the programing efforts of the councils and promote best practices.Ìý

ÌýÌýAdvocacy: We represent fraternity and sorority interests within and outside the university, supporting leaders and alumni.Ìý

ÌýÌýAdvisement: We advise council officers and fraternity/sorority presidents, hold quarterly advisor meetings and meet with national representatives.Ìý

ÌýÌýConnections: We facilitate connections between Greek organizations and university resources, encouraging departmental interaction.Ìý

ÌýÌýTraining: We plan educational programming for councils and chapters, and provide position responsibility training and community education to university departments.Ìý

ÌýÌýStandards: We promote high standards in housing, recruitment, behavior and peer governance through the Community Advancement Program.Ìý
