Fraternity and Sorority Life at CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ is made up of over 30 chapters officially recognized by the university. Each chapter participates in either new member recruitment or intake during the academic year.ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýRecruitment is the designated period during the fall and spring semesters when students attend a series of organized events to meet fraternity or sorority members as part of the process to join an organization.Ìý ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýIntake is the membership education and induction process for students to join a culturally based organization.Ìý

ÌýÌýContinuous open bidding/365 recruitment is the informal process our chapters use to recruit new members outside of the primary recruitment period.

Panhellenic Council

Panhellenic Council is the largest women’s organization on campus with more than 3,000 members. When you join a Panhellenic sorority, you join a group of people who help you grow through alumni mentors, provide spaces to be challenged and supported and help you find a place to belong at CU СÀ¶ÊÓƵ.ÌýÌýÌý

  • Social events such as formals, date dashes, sisterhoods

The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) gives members a place to explore their culture and identity through close friendships and mentorships, academic success, community service and personal and leadership development opportunities.ÌýÌý

CU Interfraternity Council

The CU Interfraternity Council (CUIFC) provides members with an experience that directly connects them to the campus community with a lifetime commitment to friendship, growth and leadership. These university-affiliated chapters offer fun social events in addition to safe fraternity experiences and well-established programs and resources.ÌýÌýÌý

National Pan-Hellenic Council (Divine 9)Ìý

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) creates additional space for the university’s Black students to feel stronger senses of belonging, inclusion and engagement. These organizations recruit across universities all over the state and have provisional status through our office to recruit members.ÌýÌýÌý

  • Smaller, closed knit community
  • City-wide chapters
  • Historically Black organizations
  • Stepping and strolling with deep ritualistic rootsÌýÌýÌý
